2018 sun chase vineyard pinot noir
a stunning year for pinot noirs on the sonoma coast, this vineyard delivered only the best to the bottle this year. strikingly complex, rich and fruity, this beautifully proportioned wine delivers an initial burst of red berry fruit with notes of new leather and licorice. from there the wines quickly gains traction and depth, with firm, layered tannins that give the spicy berry flavors a perfect foundation. a beautiful fruit forward entrance, gives way to lively acidity lifting the mid palate and showcasing the strawberry aromatics. drinking wonderfully right out the gate, a year or two in the cellar will bring out further complexities.

2018 sangiacomo vineyard pinot noir
The more the spectacular Sangiacomo Vineyard matures, the more dramatic its wines become. Rich, concentrated and compelling, this is an epic Pinot Noir. The Sangiacomo signature of hyper-red fruit notes combines with good acidity and a steely minerality to add poise and precision. Beautifully designed dark ruby color commingles with sweet hard candy , raspberries, red currants and dried spices. On the palate, rich flavors of cherry compote and mulled holiday spices are supported by hints of mint, flint and gravel. While there is a smooth, velvety ripeness to this wine, the lingering finish has a nice grip that bodes well for a long life. Enjoy over the next 3 – 7 years.
